We just recently, finally got rid of our TV. I know some parents don't know how in the world this is going to be helpful in raising two kids now and keeping the parents sane, but here are some pictures to prove that it is possible.
Sometime the little guy Lie to color, so we found him a 25 dollar set including table and chairs (pictured above) for him to do just that color and what not. This is something that is done most likely for about 1 1/2 hours a day.
This is the newest addition to the fun at that Jones' this also was a steal of a deal at IKEA, but after Nathan's travels north he discovered that trains can be fun also. So for about 30 dollars we got him his only set of trains to play with. He sure has been happy.
When Nathan doesn't want to play with the trains or color he just runs around the house looking for the Kitty or playing with the lights, or with the trains (but not on the train set) or looking at his sister napping, or help (or trying to help) clean up, and lastly snacking on something that caught his eye.
This is little Nia Madelynn sleeping. She does this most of the time and when not doing this is looking around, crying, drinking a bottle, and sleeping again. I know she has a hard life.
This is Rachel cleaning up in the kitchen and being much more helpful then me who is just taking pictures to soon post on the blog. (I hope she is not mad at me!)
This is me (Nick) I was trying to take a picture of myself and well was not doing all that well. So I trying again.
I think this picture is worst then the one before it, I really thought about stopping and just using the first one, but then did you see it is was bad also so I tried again.
This was an improvement but then it still wasn't a great picture. I've always thought of myself as somewhat good looking but this pictures are making me change my mind.
This was a turning point in the picture taking and I was happy with this one but I just could feel that the next one was going to be amazing...
...and it was. I know it also is not the best but I was getting thirsty for a sonic drink and I decided that I was just going to posted and pack the family up and go get a sonic drink to help rounded out the Sunday evening without TV, which is the normal in this home.

You crack me up, Nicolas! I've never tried taking a picture of myself and I can imagine how difficult it would be -- but you are much more handsome than these pictures show! The last one is pretty nice, however. What on earth is a sonic drink? Is it something from Starbuck's? I love Nathan's little table and his great looking train set! You have to take me to this IKEA place!
