Today we took advantage of some cool (yet pleasant and sunny) weather and went to Sea World. It is great to go in the fall because the tourists have left and you aren't tripping over someone everywhere you turn! This little trip was also a nice way to spend time together before Nathan and Nia go up to Grand Rapids (they go on Tuesday and stay for about a month!). Nick to some fabulous pictures--he always does. Here are a few:

Nia watching one of the shows and clinging tightly to her limited edition Sea World collectors cup full of COKE!! She is her mother's daughter. =)

Nathan gets a kick out of the hat shop. He wanted me to try on this one, which totally says 'old lady', but anyway, we had a good time. If Nathan had turned the hat the other way it would have been a dead ringer for those medical halos that dogs have to wear to prevent scratching their faces. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Nia doesn't really enjoy riding in the stroller that much. She'd like to be walking! Still, in this picture she seems pretty happy. On our way out of Sea World we made her ride in the stroller and she cried the whole time.

Nathan likes to carry around the Sea World map. He even examines it with a furrowed brow now and then--it genuinely appears he is analyzing the show order or attempting to figure out the quickest way to Beluga Stadium.

I told you she would rather be walking.
