Tonight was Lottie's debut as 'Jesus' in our Christmas musical. She did well: yawning adorably during the performance and moving just enough to let everyone know she was real. She has two more performances tomorrow. During the AM worship service and again at night during the musical, Lottie will be playing the role of Jesus.
Getting a picture of Lottie during the actual performance was difficult. Nick shot this picture from back stage. What you are seeing is Joseph and Mary admiring Jesus while a Wise Man sits before them.
Caitlan plays the role of Mary (this is her third year). She is beautiful and has a completely engaging personality. I've had so much fun conversing with her these last couple days. She is the obvious choice for Mary: long, dark hair, big brown eyes, perfect skin. I just think she is great. (Can you tell?)

How fun to be able to show these pictures to Lottie some day and explain how she played Jesus her very first Christmas. All of you look beautiful! :) I've been gone all day at church, so this is the first I've turned my computer on in over 24 hours (!), having been at our Festival of Lights this afternoon. If my pictures turned out, I'll post some in the next few days ... Granny McNeil tells me Nathan loved seeing Scrooge and both of his grandpa's perform.
