Lottie never adjusted to the temperature of the ice cream, but once the cold shock passed, she enjoyed the flavor very much. Can you guess what kind of ice cream she ate?
Nia Madelynn couldn't possibly enjoy anything as much as she enjoys
Nathan insisted on green ice cream.
I LOVE this boy!
Daddy and Nia walking down toward the river. We had never been to this park and were impressed with how pristine the water was!
At the top of a hill in the park, they have an old fire truck set up for kids to play on. Nathan wasn't terribly interested, but Nia had a good time exploring with Nick.
Lottie watched from her seat.
And then grew disinterested.
And Mommy was having fun playing with the camera and just HAD to capture Lottie's red hair. Because I like it. And I'm a little jealous. And also because it's rare and I feel the need to prove (repeatedly) that our child is officially exceptional. =)
Come visit us, okay?

It looks like you are having the time of your life ... all of you! :) Mmmm ... and that is the BESTEST brand of ice cream too!
And I would agree that Lottie's hair is most definitely RED. When I was a baby, mine was really blonde with just a little bit of red poking through. Mine gets redder the older I get! I wonder what Lottie's will do. We redheads will have to stick together!
Your kids are sooo adorable! I absolutely LOVE the pink converse shoes your little girl has on. She is stylin :)
Thank you so much for praying for me. It means more than you know. It's so good to know that I am not alone in my struggles, and others have dealt with the same things too.
Please let me know if there is ANYTHING I can pray for you about.
Rachel,
I came here as a follow-up to your prayer request through another blog. I am one of your prayer warriors now. My anon comment came up 3 after yours and is signed A MTN Lover. I just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and praying for you. Your family is beautiful...
Your friend and prayer warrior, Amy
I have heard recently that redheads are a dying breed! And apparently someone is trying to turn that around because now there are lots of new babies being born with red hair...even when it doesn't run in the family. Oh, and I'm jealous too, I've always wanted red hair.
