If you live in Texas, you have to find ways to have fun and stay cool. And sometimes this can be downright tricky. Because it's hot. REAL hot. My kids don't like swimming, so for a long time I hadn't bothered with a kiddie pool. I assumed they wouldn't enjoy it. But, after filling up a large Tupperware container with water a couple weeks ago, the kids played for hours with measuring cups and plastic bowls. So, I was inspired to try a kiddie pool. It has provided hours of fun!
Wanna see?
Notice that my kids don't actually get IN the pool. Now and then Nathan will splash through it, but other than that, they remain outside the water!
Lottie just watches. And yes, she IS sitting on her own. She's a little delayed, being that she was premature and all, but she can do it! And yes, her hair really IS that red.
Nia prefers to use measuring cups to play in the water. They are easy for her to manipulate. Isn't she sweet? And Nathan is even wearing clothes today. He regularly plays with the water while completely naked.
Lottie seriously considering crawling toward the camera. Hmmm... (I sure love this girl!)

The end.
Take it or leave it, friends. It's all I've got time for!
