Duke

Well after the heart warming posts about a cat we were reading earlier...I decided that our puppy needed to be displayed as well. He is not the normal size of a puppy but is still in fact just that, a puppy.

Sir Duke Jones was born most likely about 12-13 months ago in a place that is unknown. A nice lady decided to help Duke out and she took him into her home after his mother ran away from home. Sometimes he still thinks about her at night (it is really hard sometimes for him), so in those hard times Rachel lays down along side him to give comfort.

As I stated before Duke is very much a puppy, and when he chews something it is destroyed in minutes. There are stories about his brothers ripping apart a matress in a hour! This though is a league size softball that has become a chew toy...isn't he cute.

Below is a picture of the same softball (do not let the name fool you it is just like a baseball only bigger) and a monkey or was a monkey when the picture was taken...now it is well ripped apart and throughout the apartment, and most likely in his belly as well.

That is just a little bit about our little puppy Duke...isn't he so sweet!

DUKE is a puppy? Will he get much bigger? Good grief! He is horse-size already!! He is beautiful, for a dog, I guess -- I never have been too much "into" dogs ... hence, poor Silver!

Puppy and alrady that big. Andrew loves big dogs and so would love Duke then. He is cute. How can you get mad at him with such a sweet face?
