First things first: Happy Birthday to Bogs!! Love and love...can't wait to see you for Easter!

Second things second: The following pictures document our day yesterday. The main event was the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade (obviously not on the actual date!). We had a wonderful time. The first stop on our excursion was Nick's store. Nathan ordered apple juice but then drank MY frappuccino. Nice.
Nick enjoys taking pictures of the stunning downtown architecture. This building is actually not being used for anything right now. It is a shame, too, because it is beautiful! The parade. Nathan LOVED the various old cars and trucks. He liked to tell me what color they were. "Oh! See red truck??"
I find the Shriner's parade involvement to be incredibly dangerous. Seriously, the Shriner's scare me. They are miniature daredevils coming within inches of innocent spectators with those hats...yikes!
Pretty girl.

Nathan was so excited to see horses. He tried to call them, "Woot! Woot!" (this is the noise he makes to imitate a person whistling, "Come here, horsey!"
Irish Setters. Hahahahaha!

The NAVY truck! Almost all branches of the US Military were acknowledged in this Irish St. Patty's Day Parade!
I want to own one of these. But I don't want to try and parallel park it!
Nick thought my Dad would really like this one!

Bagpipes. I love the sound of bagpipes.

Look at these bicycles! I'm quite sure I don't have the equilibrium needed to ride one, but they were awesome!
A green fire truck. I'm not sure....hmmm...

Queen catching glimpses of whatever is coming next.
And then...after the parade...Sophie arrived. Yes, we have a pug. Nathan calls her "Soappy". Arff!

Wonderful pictures! WHOSE birthday was it? I've never heard of that person. Nia is growing way too fast ~ I can't believe she tolerated the flower on the side of her hair for more than a split second! Beautiful. We are so lookin forward to seeing you guys!

What a fun parade! That past few here in Austin that I wanted to take the kids too have gotten rained out but hopefully that will change. Great pics and I love the pictures of Nia with the flower on her ear- too precious. A new pug too- how old is she? She's cute!
