A day or two ago I was looking at Sabrina's blog when Nathan came up and peeked at the computer. Jackson's picture was up on the screen. "Oh!" Nathan squealed, "Pictures Jack-on!" I encouraged him...impressed that he immediately came up with Jackson's name. So, I thought I'd scroll down to the picture of Karis in her pigtails. I asked Nathan who was in THAT picture. His response:
"Carrot!"
I explain that her name is Karis--pronouncing it slowly myself with extra emphasis on the "s" at the end. Nathan, appearing completely enlightened, responds, "Ohhhhh. Carrotsssssssss."
I tried Karis, I really did! Hopefully we can have this little misunderstanding ironed out before we see you next!

Nathan has a great memory ... he doesn't see Jackson and Karis very often ... for never having seen their names spelled out and being unable to read them if he did, he did really good! He is a cutie.
I love that! Carrotssss! That is too funny! I'm still laughing. What a great memory he has to remember them both since we don't see each other nearly as often as I'd like too. Too funny!
